Job summary

West Tennessee Bone & Joint Clinic is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support therapists and patients, prepare treatment areas, and manage supplies at the Jackson, TN site.

The role includes patient transport, scheduling, and collaboration with the health care team to ensure care plans are carried out effectively. Prior MA experience is preferred, and the workweek is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• One year of job-related experience preferred.
• Experience as a medical assistant is well suited for this work environment.

• Responsible for the procurement and inventory of supplies.
• May also be assigned to routine clerical support tasks to support the patient care process.

General Summary: A nonexempt position responsible for preparing and cleaning treatment areas, procurement and inventory of supplies, transporting, positioning and in general assisting patients, therapists and assistants in the successful completion of the treatment plan as assigned by Director.

Position: Full-Time

Hours: M-F, 8:30-5:30

Wage: $15.50
