Job summary

Unified Therapy Services is seeking a Rehab Assistant/Environmental Services Tech to support daily clinic operations and maintain a safe, clean environment. You will assist with therapy equipment setup, participate in inventory, and help with patient-related tasks while coordinating with the therapy staff and leadership.

The role requires basic computer skills, strong teamwork, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and skilled in online research.
• Effective communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Ability to collaborate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects.
• Skilled in decision-making, problem-solving, and maintaining confidentiality.
• Driver's licenses.

Responsibilities

• Assists with overall cleanliness of the clinical environment.
• Completes tasks on cleaning calendar and performs laundry/dishes for therapy use.
• Supports clinic leadership with walk-throughs and duties as assigned.
• Keeps maintenance records up to date and notifies leadership when outside help is needed.
• Conducts basic repairs and ensures safety during adverse weather (salting/shoveling).
• Assists with universal precautions, safety policies, and HIPAA-compliant front desk duties.
• Opens/closes the office per procedure and maintains equipment.
• Manages supplies, inventory, and orders for office/cleaning items.
• Performs clerical tasks (mail, phones, scanning) and handles discharge audits.
• Prepares mail/postcards and therapy-related documents.
• Participates on clinical committees and supports team-building activities.
