Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to lead the outpatient rehab team within a hospital setting. The role requires directing rehab services, supervising therapists, and contributing to policy development while ensuring high-quality patient care.

The position includes overseeing revenue cycle and scheduling, with opportunities for professional growth across a large health system.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of physical therapy with a BA or BS degree.
• Three years experience as a practicing physical therapist.
• Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state.
• BCLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Rehab Services daily activities. Coordinates and supervises staff and clinical affiliates, treatments and activity schedule.
• Assists in planning and establishing policies and procedures and development of new programs.
• Trains and monitors competency of new and current personnel. Assists in staff performance evaluations.
• Direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as dictated by census with a negative variance. Assists Director in management of department and assumes any delegated assignments.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $96,907.20 to $140,379.20 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
