Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Physical Therapy Supervisor to lead the outpatient rehab team, supervising daily operations and coordinating staff, treatments, and schedules.

The role requires a BA/BS in physical therapy, licensure in the state, and at least three years of PT experience, with strong revenue-cycle, registration, and insurance knowledge. This is a full-time, day-shift position with growth opportunities within a large health system.

Qualifications

• Three years experience as a practicing physical therapist.
• Licensed by the Physical Therapy Board of state.
• BCLS for healthcare provider’s certification upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Rehab Services daily activities.
• Coordinates and supervises staff and clinical affiliates, treatments and activity schedule.
• Assists in planning and establishing policies and procedures and development of new programs.
• Trains and monitors competency of new and current personnel.
• Direct patient care including evaluation and treatment as dictated by census with a negative variance.
• Assists Director in management of department and assumes any delegated assignments.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
