Job summary

Watson-Clinic is seeking an Exercise Specialist to assist therapists and licensed assistants, utilizing GE/IDX and Epic EMR for scheduling and clerical support. The role entails reviewing patient status with therapists daily and maintaining an efficient referral workflow to keep therapy schedules full.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and a current BLS certification, with a preference for 2 years of PT/OT/Rehab Aide experience. This is a full-time, on-site role in Lakeland, FL.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED and BLS certification within 3 months.
• Preference for 2 years of PT/OT/Rehab Aide experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and cancels appointments following protocols.
• Arrives and schedules appointments; runs report sets.
• Manages the referral work queue and schedules initial encounters promptly.
• Ensure therapy schedules are filled to capacity daily.
• Follow IDX alert policy prior to scheduling; follow PFS collection comments.
• Maintain the Center's environment and state of readiness for patient care.
