Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Prior RN experience in a nursing community is preferred.
• Demonstrates a desire to care for residents and act with integrity.
• Ability to work flexible hours is necessary.
• Rehab experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develops and ensures the nursing care plan and collaborates with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care.
• Collaborates with the resident, and healthcare team.
• Records the administration of medication.
• Monitors assigned staff to ensure safety regulations are followed and tasks are performed according to regulations and procedures.
• Follows procedures related to nursing equipment and supplies.
• Performs other duties as directed.

Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include but are not limited to:

• Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants
• Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care
• Collaborates with the resident, members of the healthcare team
• Records the administration of medication
• Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility
• Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies
• Performs other duties as directed

Qualifications of the Registered Nurse include:

• An active RN license
• 1 year experience
• Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community
• The desire to care for residents and act with integrity
• The ability to work flexible hours
• Rehab Experience prefereed
