Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Rehab RN for a 11-week travel assignment in Omaha, NE. The role focuses on comprehensive nursing assessments, implementing care plans, monitoring progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation goals.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of Rehab RN experience, a valid RN license, and current BLS certification. Preferred certifications such as ACLS/NIHSS may be considered, with travel benefits and support

Qualifications

• One year of recent experience as a Rehab RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)

Responsibilities

• Complete nursing assessment of patients on the unit and documents appropriately into patient records
• Prepare patients for surgery, including educating them about procedures and post-operative care
• Coordinate and provide holistic patient care, including mobility support, rehabilitation exercises, and activities of daily living (ADLs), while ensuring adherence to individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patients’ responses to therapeutic interventions, documenting progress and communicating any deviations or concerns to the interdisciplinary team
• Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain a clean, organized environment and ensure rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies and equipment to support rehabilitation care
• Assist with safe patient transport to and from therapy sessions, diagnostic procedures, or other care areas as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice
• Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards
