Job summary

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant per state requirements.

• Strong ability to read and implement medical policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist as directed.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Assist in maintaining and organizing the department and equipment.
• Participate in patient care conferences and rehabilitation conferences as needed.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in maintenance and caregiver training for discharge.
• Communicate patient progress and plans with supervisor and health team members.
