Job summary

Susan B Allen Memorial Hospital is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide home health OT services. You will evaluate clients, design and implement care plans, administer treatments, and educate patients and caregivers in their homes.

The role requires Kansas OT licensure, a Kansas driver's license, and BLS certification. Strong communication, organizational skills, and ability to drive to client homes are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
• Kansas OT license and Kansas Driver's License.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to drive to client homes and perform lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and periodic evaluations of clients.
• Design and implement OT care plans based on evaluations.
• Administer treatments per plan of care under physician orders.
• Educate patients and caregivers; prepare home-use documentation.
• Maintain and coordinate client records and communications with physicians and staff.
• Coordinate with hospital personnel and community resources to maximize care.
• Supervise Home Health Aides and certified occupational therapy assistants as appropriate.
• Participate in clinical record audits and other duties as assigned.
