Job summary

Penn State Health Rehabiliation Hospital, in partnership with Select Medical, seeks a Nutrition Assistant at our Hummelstown, PA location. The role focuses on patient menu systems, menu management, and communication of patient dietary needs in a hospital setting.

You will prepare, deliver, and adjust menus per prescribed diets, assist patients with selections, and ensure documentation aligns with current orders and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous office experience or equivalent required.
• Working knowledge of therapeutic diets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, assemble, deliver and retrieve patient menus according to prescribed diets.
• Assist patients in completing menu selections compliant with prescribed diet.
• Update and/or validate diet changes in the patient menu system with the most current diet order.
• Update and/or validate menu and nourishment labeling is compliant with most current diet order.
