Job summary

SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care on a PRN basis. Shifts are 12 hours with a $20.50 PRN rate plus $2 night diff. and $1 weekend diff. The role involves vital signs, daily care, meals, mobility, and transporting patients.

Qualifications

• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience or CNA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing and oral hygiene.
• Delivering meals and snacks, and documenting oral intake.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely and assisting mobility.
• Answering patient call lights and supporting overall well-being.
• Transporting patients to designated areas and treatment centers.
