Job summary

FullShift Staffing seeks a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant in Jacksonville, FL to assist therapists in helping patients regain mobility and independence after illness or injury. Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Requires valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification in the state of practice, or proof of license eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide support care of residents who seek short-term/transitional care with the goal to recover and rehabilitate.
• Assist in providing appropriate aspects of quality patient care under supervision of licensed therapists.
• Document all services provided to ensure accurate and timely billing of therapy services.
• Follow the Plan of Care and organization guidelines, meeting standards and laws.
• Under supervision, identify and develop a comprehensive plan of care; implement therapy programs to restore performance.
• Identify need for and refer to other disciplines under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
