Job summary

AIJ, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support clinicians by preparing treatment areas, assisting with patient care, and handling administrative tasks. You will document vitals, use EHRs, and help maintain a clean, safe clinical environment in a rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
• Previous experience in a medical or rehabilitation setting is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Therapists and clinicians with non-clinical patient care activities; set up equipment and treatment areas.
• Monitor and document vital signs, oxygen levels, and health indicators during treatment.
• Perform administrative tasks using EHR, update patient records, and manage calls.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment; sanitize equipment and restock supplies.
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members to support care.
• Assist with special projects, inventory tracking, or quality assurance tasks.
