Job summary

ClearSky Health seeks a licensed vocational nurse to provide bedside nursing care in an inpatient hospital setting. You will perform physician-directed nursing tasks, administer medications, and contribute to individualized care plans under RN supervision.

The role emphasizes patient safety, infection prevention, and collaboration with teammates. A two-year hospital background and active LVN license with BLS are required, with opportunities for ongoing education and training at ClearSky Health

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in inpatient hospital setting preferred.
• Current state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients as ordered by the physician and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Implement orders for medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and in accordance with nursing care plan as written by the Registered Nurse.
• Provide information to the Registered Nurse to assist in the development of an individualized plan of care for each patient.
• Participate in evaluation of the effectiveness of interventions in relation to patient responses and seek guidance in redirection when necessary.
• Report to supervisor on patient care rendered, problems concerning patients’ needs, and resolution to those needs.
