Job summary

Methodist Rehabilitation Hospital in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Rehabilitation. This full-time position includes day shifts, night shifts, and a 6:45am–7:15pm schedule.

You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, administer medications, assist in assessments, and contribute to interdisciplinary care planning. Join a facility recognized for exceptional patient care and a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse program.
• Experience: Minimum one year of Medical/Surgical, Inpatient Rehab or Step Down experience in an acute care setting.
• License: Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse.
• Certifications: CPR/BLS certification required; IV Certification highly preferred or must be obtained within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely, accurately, and based on patient age and clinical condition.
• Assist the RN with initial assessments and patient reassessments per policy.
• Identify and implement appropriate rehabilitation nursing interventions.
• Deliver care under RN supervision and update the interdisciplinary plan.
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans based on patient learning needs.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and commitment to safe, patient-centered care.
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment.
