Qualifications

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college).
• Knowledge of medical terminology through formal training or experience.
• Two years professional or hospital billing experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in billing or hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification and prior authorizations for Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy services.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support benefit verification and scheduling.
• Maintain accurate patient records and resolve insurance-related issues, ensuring compliance with payer requirements and organizational policies.
