Forté Sports Medicine & Orthopedics in Carmel, IN is seeking a full-time Patient Services Representative / Rehab Front Desk Associate. You will be the first point of contact for patients in a busy rehabilitation clinic, handling registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and payments while supporting the therapy team and administrative staff.

This role requires a friendly, organized, patient-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Receptionist or Patient Services role is a plus.
• Experience in a physical therapy/rehabilitation or healthcare setting is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a friendly, professional manner.
• Register patients and manage check-in/check-out processes.
• Verify insurance and collect patient information.
• Process payments accurately and securely.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendar logistics.
• Maintain accurate patient records in EMR and PM systems.
• Distribute and communicate patient-related documents.
• Reconcile daily patient payments and batches.
• Collaborate with therapists, physicians, and administrative staff.
• Support daily clinic operations to ensure a positive patient experience.
