Job summary

A.G. Rhodes in Marietta, GA is seeking a Rehab Director to lead the Rehab Department across Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services for our Cobb community.

This department head role oversees program quality, budget, and regulatory compliance while maintaining a direct patient care caseload. The ideal candidate will have a therapy discipline degree, GA licensure (PT/OT/SLP), and at least two years of management experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Therapy program.
• Current GA PT/PTA, OT/COTA or SLP license.
• CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience in a Long-term Care or Skilled Nursing community.
• Experience as Rehab Director preferred.
• Knowledge of clinical rehabilitation practices and long-term care laws/regulations.
• Ability to lead and manage a multidisciplinary therapy team.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership of the therapy department and programs.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources for PT/OT/SLP services.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to maintain quality care.
• Maintain a direct patient care caseload while supervising licensed therapists.

Job Description Summary

The Rehab Director oversees the therapy and rehabilitation programs for our short‑term and long‑term elders, including Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy programs. This role is integral to promoting our mission of providing expert and compassionate rehabilitation therapy to the elders we serve, ensuring compliance in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and A.G. Rhodes standards. The Rehab Director supervises and leads all licensed Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy Care partners while also maintaining a direct patient care caseload. Key responsibilities include overall leadership of the therapy department, budget management, fostering collaboration with interdisciplinary team members, and delivering person‑directed rehabilitation services to promote an excellent quality of life for our elders.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Therapy program (Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy)
• Must have current PT/PTA, OT/COTA or SLP license in State of Georgia
• CPR certification
• Minimum of two years of management or supervisory experience in a Long‑term Care or Skilled Nursing community
• Experience working as a Rehab Director preferred
• Extremely knowledgeable of clinical rehabilitation practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations and guidelines governing long‑term care communities
• Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a multidisciplinary team of therapists and support staff
• Experience managing schedules, resources, and budgets efficiently
