The Rehabilitation Aide assists in preparing patients and the environment for treatments and supports therapists during therapy sessions, either individually or in groups. The aide works across various settings, including acute care, acute rehab, skilled facilities, and outpatient clinics.

Job Description

Essential Functions:

1. Interacts professionally with co-workers, visitors, and staff, aligning with Jefferson's values.
2. Assists with patient care under the supervision of licensed therapy professionals, following departmental policies and state guidelines.
3. Transports patients to treatment areas promptly for scheduled therapy sessions.
4. Ensures that equipment and treatment areas are clean, well-maintained, and ready for use, adhering to hospital policies.
5. Performs clerical duties as directed to support departmental operations efficiently.
6. Supervises exercise programs, leads group exercises, and documents attendance and fees accurately, ensuring participant safety.
7. Possesses basic computer skills such as scheduling, billing, and survey administration.
8. Communicates observations and information clearly and promptly to therapists and supervisors to facilitate coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
9. Performs additional duties as assigned.
