Job Description

Essential Functions:

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
• Performs patient care under direct supervision of a licensed therapy professional. Provides assistance according to departmental policies and procedures and applicable state practice guidelines.
• Transports patients to treatment area with timely arrival for therapy appointments.
• Ensures that equipment and treatment areas remain clean, properly stored, and ready for use according to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs clerical duties as directed by staff and supervisors in a timely manner to ensure smooth daily operations of the department.
• Supervises exercise programs, leads group exercises, documents appropriately (attendance, fees paid), and demonstrates knowledge of the specific needs related to participant safety.
• Demonstrates familiarity with basic computer skills such as scheduling, transporter lists, billing, and ability to set up new patients/administer surveys.
• Communicates impressions and objective information clearly and timely to therapists, supervisors, and others as directed to ensure efficient coordination and optimal outcomes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
