Job summary

SSM Health Physical Therapy in Warrenton, MO seeks a Rehab Aide to support therapists in an outpatient rehab program. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with a starting compensation of $18/hour and increases based on experience.

The position involves patient lifting, transfers, positioning, and equipment setup to assist in neurological and medically complex care, within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current State Driver's License in good standing required.
• Class E license allowing shuttle bus operation prior to start date.

Responsibilities

• Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs and equipment.
• Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.
• Assists patients in donning/doffing appliances specific to the facility.
• Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares for standing with devices.
• Transports patients to/from therapy as needed.
• Assists therapist with other patient-related treatment activities and equipment.
• Prepare for therapy sessions with proper patient positioning and equipment.
• Maintain department and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
