Job summary

Select Medical in O'Fallon, IL is seeking a Rehab Aide to support therapists in our outpatient physical therapy center. This full-time role runs Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with compensation $18–21/hour, depending on experience, and a robust benefits package.

You will assist with patient transfers, positioning, and equipment setup, transport patients to therapy, and help maintain a clean, organized department. You will support therapy sessions as directed and help with daily operations.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is required.
• Associate's Degree in an OT Assistant program is required.

Responsibilities

• Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
• Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.
• Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances.
• Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares for standing with orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.
• Transports patients to/from therapy as needed.
• Assists therapist with other patient-related treatment activities and provides equipment.
• Assist with patient-related activities, including equipment setup and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice Act.
• Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
