Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to assist the rehabilitation staff by preparing patients and equipment for physical therapy and treatments. The role supports therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed therapist or assistant and maintains a safe clinical environment.

Responsibilities include clerical and maintenance duties, adherence to safety and infection control policies, and professional interaction with staff, patients, and visitors in line with hospital values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required or preferred.
• Prior volunteer experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist rehabilitation staff with preparing patients and equipment for therapy.
• Support therapy sessions under supervision of a licensed therapist/therapy assistant.
• Maintain the clinical environment, equipment and supplies.
• Carry out clerical and clinical maintenance duties to support daily operations.
• Adhere to hospital safety, infection control policies and Jefferson policies.
• Interact professionally with co-workers, visitors and other staff in line with hospital values.
