Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Rehabilitation Aide to assist rehabilitation staff by preparing patients and equipment for physical therapy and treatments. You will support patients during therapy, assist with personal care, and help maintain equipment and the clinical environment.

Prior volunteer hospital experience is preferred, and a high school diploma is required. Work shift is Workday Day in the United States; this temporary position supports daily program

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Prior volunteer experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and staff in line with Jefferson values.
• Adheres to Hospital Safety and Infection Control policies per OSHA.
• Observes and helps implement therapy techniques to support clinical experience.
• Assists staff with treatment programs including mobility, transfers and exercises.
• Maintains the clinical environment, equipment and supplies.
• Performs assigned clerical and clinical maintenance duties to support daily operations.
• Engages with others consistent with hospital core values.
