AtlantiCare is seeking a Rehab Aide to join the rehabilitation team. You will assist in PT, OT, and speech therapy under licensed supervision, and ensure treatment areas and equipment meet standards. Clerical duties and warm, confidential customer service are part of the role.

ATLANTICARE _____________________________________________ ROLE DESCRIPTION POSITION SUMMARY The Rehab Aide is an integral part of the rehabilitation team. They perform direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a licensed rehab professional. The Rehab Aide assists in the provision of specified parts of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services as directed by the licensed therapist. The position ensures the quality and maintenance of treatment areas, equipment, and supplies according to established standards and procedures. The Rehab Aide provides clerical support as needed. The Rehab Aide assists customers in a friendly, prompt and caring manner. They always maintain the highest level of confidentiality and respect. This position works as part of the rehab services care team to meet the needs of the customer and to support team objectives. This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the hospital environment, including exposure to infectious disease, blood-borne pathogens, hazardous substances, and potential injury. Requires the ability to assist patients onto transportation devices. The essential functions for this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
This position reports to the Clinical Manager of Physical Therapy.
