Job summary

Southwest Florida Water Management District is hiring a part-time Regulatory Support Student Intern in the Sarasota, FL area. You will assist with drafting correspondence, compiling data, and reviewing permit compliance.

Qualifications

• Be at least part-time and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduates or 3.0 for graduate students.
• Valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Draft letters and reports related to permit conditions and compliance.
• Compile and review data from files, databases, maps and publications.
• Attend meetings and participate in regulatory discussions and corrective actions.
