Duke Energy is seeking a Rates and Regulatory Strategy Manager to support regulatory activities for its regulated electric utilities in North and South Carolina. The position involves leading cross-functional teams on MYRP governance, preparing PBR reports, and guiding rate decisions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field.
  • Eight or more years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support PBR recovery mechanisms (MYRP, ESM, decoupling, incentive mechanisms) and related monthly/quarterly/annual reporting.
  • Lead cross-functional teams for MYRP governance and regulatory guidance.
  • Prepare annual PBR reports and rider updates, coordinate with operations for workpapers and rate changes.
  • Support general rate cases through research, calculations, data requests, and testimony drafting.
  • Communicate regulatory concepts to internal/external audiences and customers.
  • Support other riders or analyses within the Carolinas Rates and Regulatory team.
