Job summary

Syngenta Seeds in Slater, IA, is seeking a Regulated & Stewardship Specialist to oversee quality and compliance across nursery seed production and trialing in North America. You will ensure proper handling of regulated materials, guide QA processes, and support USDA inspections to protect the license to operate.

The role collaborates with Regulatory, Trialing, Operations, and Scientific teams, leading audits, risk analyses, and incident response while driving continuous improvement and effective

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, biology or related field or 5+ years’ experience in agricultural operations.
• Understanding of Quality Management and Stewardship guidelines for nursery seed production.
• Knowledge of Regulated/Stewarded compliance guidelines.
• Familiarity with Reliance Quality Management System.
• Experience with RegOne regulatory management system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate new processes to meet regulatory, stewardship, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate and support changes through Management of Change (MoC) processes.
• Implement QA methods in NA Nurseries and present quality metrics.
• Maintain USDA inspection readiness to protect license to operate.
