Job summary

RYZE in the United States seeks a regulatory professional to own label compliance for its mushroom coffee and new SKUs. You will ensure FDA dietary supplement and food labeling rules are met and all claims are substantiated.

Collaborate with Research & Scientific Affairs, Product Development, Marketing, and Quality to embed regulatory review early in development, manage retailer and Amazon channel requirements, and maintain compliant regulatory files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nutritional Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, a life science or health science, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of regulatory experience at a consumer brand, dietary supplement company, or functional food company.
• Strong knowledge of FDA dietary supplement and food labeling regulations, including supplement facts requirements and structure/function claims.
• Experience with Amazon Seller Central compliance and/or retail regulator requirements is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with GRAS requirements for functional ingredients in food/beverage apps is a strong plus.
• Collaborative communicator who translates regulatory complexity for cross-functional teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation
• RAC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review labels, supplement facts, and packaging for FDA compliance and required disclosures.
• Assess whether claims are substantiated with evidence, in collaboration with internal teams.
• Own regulatory clearance for new product launches and checklists before market release.
• Maintain channel-specific compliance for retailer and ecommerce listings (Amazon, Target, etc.).
• Review ingredient documentation for GRAS status and certifications.
• Monitor FDA developments and update claims or formulations as needed.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, Research & Scientific Affairs, and Quality.
• Maintain regulatory files, SOPs, and improve review processes.
