Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Analyst in Walnut Creek, CA for a 6+ month contract. You will handle Federal Reserve reporting deliverables, data aggregation, and analyses using GAAP principles to explain trends and variances.

The role requires collaboration across business, research, and IT teams to ensure timely, compliant reporting. Responsibilities include validating data, automating recurring tasks where possible, and coordinating with multiple entities to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing Federal Reserve regulatory reporting deliverables such as FR Y-15 schedules.
• Ability to collect, validate, analyze, and report data with clear variance explanations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support regulatory initiatives and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned Federal Reserve regulatory reporting deliverables, including FR Y-15 schedules, and support timely submission by completing required validations, reconciliations, and documentation in accordance with applicable reporting requirements and established processes, controls, and review and approval procedures.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners across multiple entities to obtain reporting inputs, resolve data and reconciliation issues, and meet assigned reporting deadlines. Escalate unresolved issues to management.
• Develop analytical tools for internal monitoring that include proper controls and work with data providers towards continuous improvement in data quality. Identify and recommend opportunities to automate recurring reporting activities, reduce manual intervention, and improve efficiency while maintaining appropriate controls.
• Develop deep understanding of Axiom SL and use available functionality to build synergies.
• Utilize GAAP to perform analytical procedures over income statement, balance sheet accounts, and cash flow statements while explaining variances and trends.
• Execute data aggregation from multiple sources for reporting schedules, including data collection, extraction, validation, reconciliation, and analysis of large databases (milions of records).
• Monitor new and revised regulatory reporting requirements, assess impacts, present findings, and implement updates to processes and controls.
• Investigate reporting gaps and data-quality issues, draft business requirements, perform UAT, and report progress to management.
• Execute established reporting controls, document procedures, and track remediation actions for management review.
• Coordinate collection of applicable reporting attestations and escalate exceptions to management.
• Support responses to Federal Reserve inquiries and examinations by coordinating data requests and analyses.
