Job summary

Goldman Sachs is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Controller to analyze and manage the firm’s external regulatory filings on a global scale. The role focuses on end-to-end preparation, review, and submission of key disclosures, including FR Y-9C, Call Reports, and other regulatory documents.

The successful candidate will work with cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, Risk, and Treasury to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance, while driving improvements in processes and technology

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience; strong accounting background preferred.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Teamwork and collaboration-oriented, with the ability to work independently.
• Energetic, focused, driven with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review regulatory reports and financial disclosures (FR Y-9C, Call Report, FR Y-9LP, FR Y-12, FR 2644, FR 2900).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and regulators; support governance and control processes.
• Interface with Product Controllers, Financial Reporting, Legal Entity Controllers, Risk and Treasury.
• Assist with internal management reporting, guidance on new policies, and ad hoc inquiries.
• Document control procedures, reconciliations, and variance analyses.
• Drive projects to improve controllers’ applications and workflows; coordinate with project teams.
