Job summary

New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's Green Acres program in Trenton seeks a seasoned program professional to lead staff, analyze and evaluate parkland regulation, and support conservation initiatives. Under supervision, you will review documents, advise on leases and notices, and engage with local officials to advance preservation goals.

Travel statewide may be required; a strong writing and detail orientation is essential.

Qualifications

Six years of professional experience in planning, monitoring, coordinating, implementing, modifying, and/or evaluating agency programs and services.
Bachelor's degree plus two years of relevant experience, or Master's with one year.
All U.S. degrees must be from an accredited college or university; foreign degrees must be evaluated for accreditation.

Responsibilities

Lead professional/technical staff in program activities and provide administrative and analytical oversight.
Promote planning, operation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs and services.
Conduct research and field work to meet needs of state/local public or private agencies.
Review, analyze, and evaluate documents related to fee implementation, leases, and notices; respond to compliance-related issues.
