Job description

Program Management:


  1. Facilitates the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables and lead the implementation phase to ensure consistency with stated goals

  2. Develops full-scale project plans, including defining project tasks, timeline, resource requirements, and managing budget and resource allocation

  3. Monitors on-going program dynamics, manages risks, and resolves issues
    Keeps stakeholders informed of progress and communicates/presents progress and status to a variety of audiences

  4. Provides work direction and leadership to project team, including scheduling and assignment of work and review of individual project efforts

  5. Implements and manages project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

  6. May act as business owner as needed to provide ongoing project support



Cross-Functional Integration and Communication:


  1. Keeps an open line of communication between key stakeholders where information is monitored and shared

  2. Facilitates meetings and discussions to achieve consensus and enter into enforceable contracts for the assigned project

  3. Manages relationships and contracts with vendors providing services under the project as needed

  4. Coordinates and documents steering and leadership committee/team activities

  5. Ensures changes to guidelines, policies, and procedures are analyzed and fully communicated to impacted parties



Research and Analysis:


  1. Receives high-level business requirements and develops detailed requirements. Prioritizes efforts and maintains inter-dependencies

  2. Gathers and analyzes information such as business trends, competitive threats, and strategic assumptions

  3. Visualizes and presents data in a way that highlights a program/project's areas of excellence and areas of improvement

  4. Facilitates planning sessions with management to align departmental/program efforts with corporate strategic goals in order to deliver tactical results



General:


  1. Contributes to the development and coordination of best practices, project standards, procedures and quality objectives.

  2. Serves as a team player, role model and mentor for other employees in the organization

  3. Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned or directed.

  1. Bachelor's degree and five years of related work experience, including 2 years of project management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.

  2. Experience with projects and business functions.

  3. Strong project management skills

  4. Strong analytical skills

  5. Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information and make recommendations to key decision makers

  6. Possess general knowledge of financial concepts -- (i.e. balance sheets, financial statements)

  7. Effective verbal and written communication skills

  8. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  9. Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
    Including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
