Job summary

SRE Engineering DPC is seeking a Regulatory Program Manager to support a NYC DEP infrastructure project, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and the site-specific consent decrees. You will coordinate with regulatory agencies and internal teams to maintain compliance across construction activities.

The role emphasizes strong regulatory reporting, deadline tracking, and cross-functional communication to keep the project in line with federal, state, and local mandates.

Qualifications

• Experience with NYC DEP environmental or water quality regulatory compliance, ideally involving consent decrees or enforcement actions.
• Familiarity with Safe Drinking Water Act programs or comparable regulatory frameworks.
• Strong written communication for regulatory reporting and agency coordination.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ongoing compliance with applicable judicial, federal, or state consent decrees, judgments, or orders tied to the project.
• Track regulatory deliverables and deadlines and communicate status to the Construction Manager and DEP.
• Serve as the point of coordination between the project team and the regulatory agencies overseeing compliance.
• Support documentation and reporting needed to demonstrate compliance throughout construction.
