Job summary

SRE Engineering DPC seeks a Chemical Process Safety Management/Risk Management Program (PSM/RMP) Manager for an upcoming NYC DEP infrastructure project. You will lead safety program implementation and ensure regulatory compliance on site.

The role requires translating PSM/RMP requirements into clear contract language and field procedures, mitigating chemical exposure risks for staff and the public, and coordinating with the EHS Officer and Construction Manager. Travel to sites is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and Risk Management Programs (RMP) on water/wastewater or industrial sites; DEP preferred.
• Understanding of chemical handling, storage, and exposure controls in construction environments.
• Ability to translate PSM/RMP requirements into contract language and field procedures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare contract documents that clearly define PSM and RMP requirements for the project
• Manage and mitigate chemical exposure risks to staff and the public throughout construction, start-up, and close-out
• Keep PSM and RMP requirements current and updated as needed for the duration of the contract
• Coordinate with the EHS Officer and Construction Manager on chemical safety protocols specific to the site
