Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking a Paralegal to support legal, business, and regulatory affairs, working directly with the Head of Legal Affairs. You will read, interpret, and summarize complex documents and help ensure compliance across projects.

Responsibilities include tracking milestones, preparing external briefings, maintaining regulatory logs, and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet deadlines in field environments. Strong writing and organizational skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all applicable permits, approvals, regulatory conditions, and reporting obligations, ensuring project activities remain fully compliant.
• Read, interpret, and summarize legal, regulatory, and technical documents, translating complex requirements into clear, actionable guidance for internal teams.
• Track compliance milestones, submittals, agency correspondence, and deadlines, proactively identifying risks and coordinating mitigation strategies.
• Prepare external-facing briefings and written updates on project status and site-specific details.
• Maintain detailed meeting notes, regulatory commitments logs, and organized project documentation to support audits, inspections, and agency reviews.
• Work closely with the engineering, construction, and operation teams to develop and implement internal systems and processes to ensure timely communication, accountability, and completion of tasks across teams.
