Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis is seeking an Analyst to join the Mergers & Acquisitions Unit. You will manage filings, assess financial and managerial factors, and prepare detailed analysis and recommendations for action.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external parties, build subject-matter expertise, and advance through assigned projects, while working onsite at the St. Louis office or branch offices in Little Rock, AR, Louisville, KY, or Memphis, TN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
• 2 years’ related experience.
• Knowledge of financial statements and financial analysis.
• Ability to synthesize information.
• Attention to detail.
• US citizen or lawful permanent resident intending to become a citizen.
• Travel (5%).
• Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower job grade or salary.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary analyst assigned to manage base-level filings.
• Demonstrate sound understanding of filing proposals and financial analysis.
• Display strong time management and prioritization to meet deadlines.
• Prepare high-quality written correspondence and analysis summaries.
• Establish base-level knowledge of banking laws and Board policies.
• Gain familiarity with FedEZFile and the CASSIDI application.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews of the unit’s work.
• Support modernization of the unit’s policies and procedures.
• Build relationships with stakeholders within the District and System.
• Conduct presentations for internal stakeholders and staff.
• Support special projects as assigned.
