Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Juris Doctor degree program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to the start of the work term in May 2027.
• Returning to full‑time studies immediately following the work term.
• Availability to work full‑time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.
• Completion of the second year of law school prior to the start of the work term.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research related to project development, transactional, environmental, and pipeline safety matters.
• Analyze legal and regulatory issues related to the natural gas transportation industry.
• Support work involving the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and other regulatory frameworks.
• Prepare legal analyses, summaries, and advice for business clients.
• Collaborate with legal professionals on active projects and business initiatives.
• Review and evaluate legal and regulatory information to support decision‑making.
• Assist with the development of legal guidance and documentation.
