Job summary

The State of Florida's Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles is seeking an Inspector Specialist to monitor laws and regulations for the Florida Rider Training Program, DELAP, and Third Party Administrators. You will coordinate between the Department, TPAs, motorcycle safety schools, RiderCoaches, Instructors and Examiners, and conduct trainings and audits.

• Knowledge of adult education and training principles.
• Ability to interpret and apply motor vehicle laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in researching, developing, implementing and monitoring laws and regulations related to FRTP, DELAP and TPA.
• Serve regulatory oversight between the Department, TPAs, motorcycle safety schools, RiderCoaches, Instructors and Examiners; conduct training, audits and site visits.
