Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Investment Planning team supporting the natural gas operations in Connecticut and Massachusetts. The role focuses on compiling regulatory filings, revenue reconciliations and financial models to support rate cases and budget processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance and 3–5 years of related experience, strong accounting knowledge, and advanced Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 3–5 years of related experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting theory and financial reporting.
• Ability to analyze data and build revenue reconciliation models.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications including Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation for regulatory filings.
• Develop revenue reconciliation models and procedures in line with regulatory policies and tariffs.
• Prepare Monthly Financial Report and Monthly Projection Report for the business.
• Support the annual budget process and monthly closing activities.
