Job summary

Eversource is seeking an Associate, Financial Analyst to join its Investment Planning team, supporting the natural gas operations in Connecticut and Massachusetts. You will compile and coordinate operational and accounting information for rate cases, reconciliations and regulatory plans, and assist in budgets and monthly close activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline required.
Active work towards or completion of a related advanced degree preferred.
Strong knowledge of accounting theory and financial reporting, analyses and model management.

Responsibilities

Provide documentation for various regulatory filings.
Develops and maintains revenue reconciliation models and procedures in compliance with policies and tariffs.
Interprets complex information and communicates it clearly for regulatory filings.
Produce monthly financial reports for the businesses and assist in budgeting and monthly closings.
Support the annual budget process and related major tasks.
