Job summary

American Honda Finance Corporation seeks a Regulations Analyst-Exams for the Regulatory Compliance division to support the administration and coordination of audit and exam processes, including document collection, data analysis, tracking, and preparation of responses to regulators.

The Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather information, maintain examination records, support remediation tracking, and assist with process improvements ensuring adherence to consumer compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years in a financial institution with 2 years in audit/examinations.
• Project planning or change management experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Superior oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail; strong legal research and analytical abilities.
• Experience working with legal counsel; proficient in MS Windows and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support state and federal examinations, and AHMC audits.
• Stay current on regulatory changes and monitor compliance issues.
• Gather information, maintain examination records, and support remediation tracking.
• Assist cross-functional teams to promote compliance with consumer laws.
• Maintain compliance-related inboxes and operational processes.
• Participate in special projects as directed by management.
