Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a seasoned Practice Group Manager for the Regulatory and Enforcement Global Practice Group in Washington, DC. The role drives strategic initiatives, operational excellence and talent management across offices, reporting to GPLs and PAT leaders with support from Marketing, Accounting and L&D.

You will help design plans, track utilization, and run projects to optimize efficiency and client service.

Qualifications

• Experience in consulting, strategic and operational roles or in-house legal settings.
• Understanding of law firm economics, attorney incentives, staffing dynamics, and overall practice operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Resource Management/Scheduling Tools, Excel and related applications.
• Ability to work independently, identify needs, drive projects and balance leadership collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Provide hands-on support for the GPG and PATs by building relationships with GPLs and PGHs, partners, associates and staff.
• Organize practice group meetings and develop communications, materials and meeting documentation.
• Create, design and manage customized reporting with GPLs, PGHs and Accounting.
• Assist in developing and executing strategic business plans or initiatives; monitor industry trends.
• Coordinate cross-practice projects and collaborate with Marketing/BD to track referrals and ROI.
• Prepare client value or post-engagement reports showing efficiencies and service delivery improvements.
• Lead special projects to improve operations, including AI initiatives where applicable.
• Coordinate with Learning & Development, Knowledge Management, Marketing and Accounting to leverage resources.
