Job summary

Central Point Partners, LLC is seeking an IT Finance Data Analyst to support regulatory reporting data needs in a hybrid Columbus area role. The candidate will map metadata, lineage, and reference data, ensuring data quality and governance across AWS Glue and Airflow pipelines.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in banking data with SQL, Python, and experience using Snowflake, Tableau or Power BI to deliver actionable reports and insights for regulatory reporting such as Y9C and Call Reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years in banking with 3–5 years data experience (data discovery, data quality, regulatory reporting and/or governance).
• Experience with data discovery, quality, regulatory reporting and/or data governance.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS, Tableau/Power BI.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports metadata, business definitions and lineage mapped to enterprise tools.
• Assists in reference data and data governance practices.
• Supports data management and governance adherence; participates in change management.
• Collaborates with Data Manager, Data Officer, Data Analysts and technology partners across the data lifecycle.
• Contributes to ongoing data quality improvements within the segment.
• Assists in fit-for-purpose analysis of data for regulatory reporting.
• Identifies Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and profiles data.
• Manages inventory of data-related controls supporting business processes.
• Supports data literacy initiatives with the CDAO Data Literacy team.
• Documents data quality rules and workflows for AWS Glue and Airflow.
• Guides juniors in designing and building Tableau or Power BI reports.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
