Google in Mountain View, CA is seeking a regulatory lawyer to lead the new Standards, Operations, and Scaled Resolution team, advising on AI-forward workflows and scaled matter execution. You will direct a high-performing team of PgMs and ensure legal soundness of automated workflows across global programs.

The role emphasizes strategic regulatory leadership, cross-team collaboration, and proactive issue anticipation in a fast-evolving tech environment.

Qualifications

• JD, LL.B., or equivalent practical experience required.
• 7 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or a law firm.
• 7 years handling legal, regulatory and litigation matters with risk management.
• Admitted to the bar and in good standing in the state of the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Standards, Operations, and Scaled Resolution team with strategic roadmaps.
• Oversee AI-forward regulatory workflows and matter execution solutions.
• Partner with RA and Alphabet leaders to harmonize global protocols.
• Demonstrate influence to accelerate decision-making and resolution.
