Job summary

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. seeks a Compliance Technician II to ensure materials, products, and processes meet regulatory and contractual requirements across the installed base. This role emphasizes government contract compliance, regulatory documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will review FAR/DFARS clauses, monitor environmental material regulations, and support obsolescence and last time buy decisions with engineering and procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks and government contracting.
• Experience with compliance databases or regulatory tracking tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review government and customer contracts to identify compliance obligations and documentation needs.
• Interpret contract clauses and communicate requirements to Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Program Management.
• Assist in building processes to ensure adherence to DFARS, Buy America/Buy American, and related elements.
• Monitor materials and components for compliance with environmental and substance-control regulations (REACH, RoHS, CMRT, TSCA, Prop 65).
• Maintain regulatory compliance records for legacy and active components; support audits and customer reporting.
• Collaborate with Engineering to address obsolescence, Last Time Buy decisions, and alternative parts as needed.
