Job summary

Credit Union of America seeks a Compliance Coordination role to support the Project Management team, regulatory changes, and department initiatives. You will collaborate with the Risk Manager, Compliance Officer, BSA Officer, and other stakeholders to ensure projects meet regulatory requirements and policy updates.

You will maintain project plans, monitor timelines, document decisions, and support audit/exam responses while pursuing ongoing education in BSA/AML compliance and related areas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or industry certifications equivalent.
• Three to five years of related experience.
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations for financial institutions.
• Experience with risk management, internal audit, and compliance programs.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate compliance and support Project Management team and regulatory change initiatives.
• Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, task lists, and supporting documentation.
• Track deliverables, follow up with responsible parties, and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Assist with compliance program documentation including policies, procedures, risk assessments, and audit/exam materials.
• Serve as liaison between Risk Management, business units, vendors, and project owners to ensure compliance considerations are understood.
• Support external regulatory examinations, internal audit requests, and corrective action tracking.
