Caterpillar Inc. in Irving, TX is seeking a Technical Regulatory Compliance Engineering Specialist to support product regulatory compliance programs for Cat Technology, including Automation and Autonomy systems, across intended markets.

The role involves collaborating with product engineering to lead functional safety analysis, staying current on regulatory requirements, and using established processes to collect, assess, and manage certification data to ensure compliant products.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum.
• Extensive experience developing electronic systems.
• Ability to create and use PowerBI dashboards for product regulatory reporting.
• Working understanding of earth moving machinery ISO standards.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with product engineering to lead functional safety analysis on safety control systems.
• Understand and stay current on product regulatory requirements, and related technology requirements, and understand application of same to Caterpillar products.
• Follow and utilize established processes and tools to collect, assess, and manage information in support of product certification and compliance.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities for processes and tools used to manage product regulatory compliance risks.
• Collaborate with product groups, design control and operations to ensure the development, validation and production of product that meets applicable product regulatory requirements.
