Job summary

New Jersey Natural Gas (NJNG), a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, seeks a Compliance Engineer to collect, validate, and maintain regulatory compliance data for gas distribution operations. You will support inspections, audits, and DIMP activities, maintaining records in Maximo and GIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (mechanical, electrical or chemical preferred).
• 0–3 years of utility/construction experience preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Basic knowledge of federal pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR Part 192) preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review, and validate compliance data for inspections and surveys.
• Ensure records comply with 49 CFR Part 192 and state codes.
• Maintain compliance records in Maximo, GIS, and other databases.
• Assist with regulatory reports, audits and inspections.
