Job summary

State of Michigan is seeking Departmental Analysts to analyze complaints under the Occupational Code, the Skilled Trades Regulation Act, the Elevator Licensing Act, and related regulations. You will apply licensing provisions to consumer and local government complaints about construction work and conduct compliance conferences to resolve issues.

This role uses analytics to perform a range of complaint resolution tasks and to prepare and update procedures in line with statutes and rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any major is required.
• No specific type or amount of professional experience is required for Departmental Analyst 9.
• Two years of professional experience, including one year at the intermediate (10) level for Departmental Analyst 11/P11.
• Educational substitution: high school + two years of active-duty service may substitute for education.

Responsibilities
